Jennifer Lopez gets the most out of her workouts by drinking plenty of water beforehand.
The 46-year-old superstar gives women half her age a run for their money with her killer body and wrinkle-free skin. As an A-lister she has access to the world’s top make-up artists and products, but Jennifer credits a humble glass of water as the boost that helps her exercise harder.
“Drink plenty water, especially before you go for a workout. It can help you push harder and get more out of your exercise routine,” she smiled to Britain’s Dare magazine.
Diet also plays a key role in Jennifer’s life, and even as a busy mother-of-two, the singer and actress always makes sure she eats right. That includes selecting healthy options when she dines out and carrying snacks wherever she goes to combat any craving she may be hit with.
“Protein is my go-to whenever I start having cravings. It fills me up and keeps me full longer, and it’s a great muscle fuel. I always carry fruit and veggies with me to give me something to snack on,” she shared.
Jennifer first found fame as an actress, before turning her attention to music. She now combines the two, plus loves to dance whenever she can. As well as being a hobby, dancing also keeps the star’s body looking lean and taut.
“I’m convinced working out is part of what makes me so happy. Dance has always been a huge part of my life, and taking time to move my body and do something that’s so good for me is key to my happiness,” she shared.
