Jennifer Lopez's Scary-Gorgeous Skull Makeup for Halloween

Scary gorgeous! On the arm of her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez attended Heidi Klum's 16th Annual Halloween Party on Oct. 31 in NYC, where the couple stunned in spooky skull makeup and glam ensembles (including a plunging dress for Lopez!).

First, Faction needed the perfect face paint. "[I used] Mehron Paradise Makeup in Black and White, and the Barrier Setting Spray. The paint has such incredible pigment, which makes applying an even base coat a breeze," the makeup pro tells Us Weekly. "For Jennifer and Casper, it was my obvious choice — they're my favorite body-painting company, hands down."

For Smart, Faction wanted a "traditional, more masculine skull face — dark and menacing." But for Lopez, the makeup artist wanted something soft and sexy. "I decided to create something new — a glam skull-hybrid with soft lines and blended areas, but still featuring the structure of the traditional skull shape. Plus, I wanted the warmer tones to complement her skin and her hair color," he explains.

And in the end, "We were thrilled!" Faction tells Us. "It was dark, Halloween-appropriate makeup, but it still held beauty and interest." He adds, "Working with Jennifer was a dream — she is so kind and has the best laugh in the world. And with her incredible bone structure, the makeup just applied itself."

Casper Smart Opens Up About His Relationship with Jennifer Lopez

Beau “Casper” Smart joined “Extra’s” Terri Seymour at Westfield Century City, where he broke his silence on his on-again/off-again relationship with superstar Jennifer Lopez.

Casper and Jennifer broke up last June, but the two were recently spotted together, sparking rumors they’re back on. Casper’s official answer on the relationship question: “Today it’s just fun, just having a good time.”

He continued, “If we have anything to announce, we will let everybody know, we’re just hanging out.” Smart also revealed he likes Lopez’s new shorter hairdo, saying, “It’s great!”

Casper also chatted with Terri about season two of the reality competition show “Fake Off,” in which he judges performers as they recreate an iconic pop culture moment.

“They have ninety seconds to perform, and they have a full production behind them, which makes it different from any other kind of show where they just kind of get on stage and hey I do whatever my talent is,” said Casper. “It’s like a mini-award show, so they get props, they get wardrobe, they get video content, scrims, and projection.”

Lopez, who is a judge on “American Idol” wasn’t shy about dishing some advice to Casper. “Just be yourself, be open, and have fun, and be yourself."

When he’s not in the judge’s chair, Casper gets to work with some of the biggest names in Hollywood as a dancer and choreographer for clients like Nicki Minaj. “I love working with Nicki. She’s so great with me. We really mesh, really good, and we just... I don’t know, we clicked and we started with the ‘Anaconda’ video.”

He even worked with Beyoncé when she was part of Destiny’s Child. He said, “She was great, super sweet, super hard worker.”

J. Lo knows how to stay in shape!

The three went out for some shopping, stopping in a local sports store.

Lopez has been filming on location in Brooklyn for new cop drama Shades of Blue.

Though Lopez recently admitted she's "sort of" single in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, it seems she's segued into "not at all single" territory.

Despite their obvious "couple" behavior, the singer also admitted that she's been uncertain in her love life recently.

But today Lopez was focused on her little ones, holding their hands as they made their way across the parking lot.

No wonder her latest hit is titled "Booty"!

In Daisy Dukes and an adorable crop-top, J. Lo proves she'll always be a timeless "Jenny from the block."

Jennifer Lopez looks in good spirits despite braving inclement weather while filming new series Shades Of Blue

Jennifer Lopez always brings her A-game rain or shine.

The 45-year-old actress was spotted on the New York City set of her new series Shades Of Blue on Monday morning.

The American beauty did not seem too concerned with the wet weather in Uptown, Manhattan as she was all smiles while in her role as a police detective.

J-Lo may have taken a few liberties with the uniform, however, as she sported a revealing sheer black top while portraying the cop Harlee Santos.

She completed the look with mostly black including suit jacket, matching trousers and a black leather belt. A gold badge hung off of her waist as she completed the look with a pair of grey leather boots.

Before the Waiting For Tonight singer shot her scenes, she made sure to keep dry with a navy blue raincoat while hanging out on the sidewalk.

After ditching the jacket, in between takes the American Idol judge stood under a green and black checked umbrella held up by a crewmember.

Jennifer rocked medium-length curly dirty blonde locks and sported natural, complimentary make-up on her flawless skin topped off with a swipe of dark pink lip.

Despite being busy at work filming her new series, she did not turn away a male fan who asked to take a selife with her as she smiled while the male follower posed with his arm around her.

Her outfit on set was quite a different look from the stunning one she rocked at the Tony Awards in the Big Apple held the previous evening at Radio City Music Hall.

The Selena actress donned a navy princess-like ball gown by Valentino which featured gold sequined star patterns all over it.

J-Lo accessorized her elegant ensemble with a gold metallic Jimmy Choo clutch, Harry Winston jewels, Christian Louboutin heels and completed her look with a dramatic bold berry lip.

Jennifer Lopez is too hot for Morocco

Officials in Morocco's ruling Justice and Development Party (PJD) branded a weekend performance by US pop singer Jennifer Lopez "unacceptable."

In his Twitter account, Communications Minister Mustafa Al-Khalfi, of the JDP party, said that the performances at the Mawazine music festival, in Rabat, which opened with a performance by Lopez on Saturday, were "against the law."

He called on the ethics committee of public service broadcaster 2M to investigate the decision to live broadcast the festival, which also included performances by Pharrell Williams, Shakira and Justin Timberlake.

More than 160,000 people turned out to see Lopez open the festival on Saturday, but the singer drew criticism from local media for her "suggestive poses" and being "scantily dressed" during the performance, reports FP.

Morocco's Islamist government has been in power since 2011.

In April 2014, a man was killed in clashes between left-wing students and Islamists at the University of Fez in Morocco.

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t want American Idol to end

When television broadcaster Fox recently announced the upcoming 15th season of American Idol — to be broadcast next year — will be the last, the news was met with broad industry acceptance that it had ran its course.

Yet it seems the show’s star, judge Jennifer Lopez, is apparently still holding hope for the decision to be reversed.

“It is supposed to be the last season, I don’t know if that’s true,” she says, speaking from the world music festival Mawazine at the Moroccan capital of Rabat. “I love the show and I hope it goes on forever.”

Denial aside, you can understand Lopez’s reaction; the programme has been widely credited for reviving the 45-year-old’s stalling career ever since she joined its 10th season in 2011.

The resurgence in popularity, augmented with Lopez’s top-notch social-media strategy, resulted in a string of industry successes that looked remote five years ago.

She bounced back from the near career-ending 2007 album Brave with the next two releases, 2011’s Love and 2013’s A.K.A. topping the charts.

On the film front, she scored box office success with roles both real and animated, such as in the 2012 comedy-drama What to Expect When You’re Expecting and the latest DreamWorks animated release, Home. The latter has already grossed more than $340 million (Dh1.2bn) since its American release in March.

Lopez hopes that midas touch can work in her latest venture, the new health and fitness brand and website BodyLab.com.

“Today I posted glute exercises,” she says, rather excitedly. “I just launched the new website, where I do give a lot of my exercise tips and share what I do know about keeping in shape.”

The tips Lopez offers in BodyLab seem slightly more grounded than those found in actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s much-maligned lifestyle website Goop.

Recipes include “fresh and simple salsa”, and “JLO’s Berry Good Smoothies”, while recommended workouts focus on the back, shoulder and the aforementioned posterior.

Lopez said BodyLab aims to puncture myths surrounding healthy living.

“At this age I really feel that beauty secrets are essentially all about living a good lifestyle,” she says.

“Thank God that since I was young – not that I am still not young, but when I was younger – I was always about eating right, getting my sleep and drinking lots of water. I don’t drink (alcohol), I don’t smoke and I never been much of party person, but more of a worker my whole life.”

Born in a gritty neighbourhood in the New York borough of The Bronx, Lopez credits her mother for instilling the tough work ethic that saw Lopez rise from a backing dancer for New Kids on The Block and Janet Jackson in the early 1990s to her present standing as a pop star and fashion icon.

“The Bronx is a place where you wouldn’t necessarily think you would have the brightest future. Especially for a Puerto Rican woman in the United States. But what was great for my upbringing was that I had a mum who told me that I could accomplish anything and to find my own passion,” she explains.

“And that’s what my advice has been to others: to find what your passion is and work very hard at it. That is really the secret to success. There is no magic wand or a secret passageway, that doesn’t exist. I work harder than the next person in my business and I won’t let up.”

A look at the calendar for the next 12 months confirms her outlook: as well as returning to American Idol next year, Lopez signed up for a 20-show residency at the Las Vegas resort Planet Hollywood to begin next January. Lopez is about to spend this summer shooting the new television cop drama Shades of Blue alongside Ray Liotta.

Jennifer Lopez Just Debuted Short (And Dark!) Hair

Jennifer debuted the new look at LAX yesterday—it’s shorter, darker, and has a ton of face-framing layers. I’m surprised this many people recognized her at the airport, TBH—I’m not sure I would.

From the side, the difference is even more obvious—her flowing waves are a distant memory, in their place is a sleek, shaggy, shoulder-length ’do.

Some light digging (aka looking at her Instagram feed) reveals that J.Lo took her new hair to Morocco, where it fluttered in the wind of an open car window. Whether she made the ~drastic~ change for her upcoming role in NBC cop drama Shades of Blue or she’s trying out possible looks for next year’s Vegas residency, one thing’s for sure—she’s got a ton coming up and has the perfect new look for it all.
