Jennifer Lopez doesn't mind chaos

Jennifer Lopez likes having slightly chaotic relationships.

The 'Dance Again' hitmaker, who recently admitted she doesn't like being alone, has been dating her backup dancer, Casper Smart, 26, for more than two years but insisted she would have no problem moving on if it no longer felt right.

Asked about her love life, the 44-year-old star told the March issue of the U.K.'s Glamour magazine: ''I want a bit of chaos, but I also want safety and order. It's taken me a long time, but if something doesn't feel right, I won't go along with it any more.''

Jennifer, who has five-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with her third ex-husband, Marc Anthony, also opened up about her trim figure and explained she is very strict with her diet.

She said: ''I'm not one to over-indulge. It doesn't make me feel good. Some find it comforting to sit down and eat a whole pint of Haagen-Dazs, but that would make me throw up.''

The 'Maid in Manhattan' actress, who also previously had long-term romances with P. Diddy and Ben Affleck, recently confessed she doesn't know if she will walk down the aisle for a fourth time.

When asked about marriage, she said: ''I don't know. We'll see. I don't know. You know, I've always believed in that institution. I believe in it, but it is difficult. I've had my challenges, but at the same time I believe in love, and I think that is the main thing.''

Rumors recently swirled that the 'American Idol' judge and Casper have been drifting after a number of heated arguments.

Pitbull teams up with Jennifer Lopez for official 2014 World Cup song

Four years ago it was Shakira telling the world to "Waka Waka" ahead of South Africa 2010.

Now, with Brazil 2014 just months away, FIFA has announced U.S. artist Pitbull will team up with Jennifer Lopez for "We Are One (Ola Ola)," the official song of this year's World Cup.

The duo will team up with Brazilian star Claudia Leitte to perform at the tournament's opening ceremony ahead of the host's first match with Croatia on Sao Paulo June 12.

Jennifer Lopez: I Have No Shame Saying I Don't Like To Be Alone

Exclusive! Find out why another marriage isn't off the table for Jennifer Lopez. (by YourTango.com)

After sitting out the twelfth season of American Idol to concentrate on her world tour and other projects, like producing ABC Family's The Fosters, Jennifer Lopez is back at the judges' table. This time around she's joined by Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr., and it's apparently a love-fest: The set is blessedly drama-free, since the departure of the adversarial Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.

Love is the operative word in J.Lo's personal life too, as she's happy being mom to twins Max and Emme, who turn six on Feb. 22, as well as happily involved with her former backup dancer Casper Smart. Here, she talks candidly about life and love.

** Love to sing like J.Lo?

YourTango: Coming back to Idol after a year away, what do bring to the table now?
Jennifer Lopez: I went on my first world tour and that was a great experience for me. I see already the way that I'm speaking about performing and music is so different from how I was before. I felt like I knew so much before, but now with that experience, I have a whole other level of understanding about that process.

YourTango: Are you taking Max and Emme to the set?
Jennifer Lopez: Yeah, of course.

YourTango: Do they take after you?
Jennifer Lopez: You like to think that they do. Emme and Max, they're very different. Max is a lot like Marc and Emme is a lot like me.

YourTango: Do they have any musical talents?
Jennifer Lopez: I think so. I think Max has an incredible ear for hit records. He loves music and Emme sings but I don't want to put any pressure on them in any way.

** How to clone J.Lo soft voice?

YourTango: What do you sing to them at home?
Jennifer Lopez: Everything, anything that comes to my mind. Emme really loves it and Max really loves it, you know, they just love the sound of your voice because you're their mom.

YourTango: How is it balancing being on the show and being a mom?
Jennifer Lopez: It's a real juggling act right now. I find that when your priorities are straight, it's easier. With me, the kids come first and then everything can kind of fall in line after that. And as far as work goes, it's really just about scheduling ... it's like, 'OK, how does this all work together?' But I have a great team. I don't do it all by myself.

YourTango: Does Casper help you? How is he with the kids?
Jennifer Lopez: Absolutely. He's fantastic with the kids and he helps me very much with my work. It was his idea to do the video [for] "Same Girl" and go shoot that in the Bronx. He was like, 'When are we going to be in New York again? Come on, I'll do it with you. Let's go do it. Let's put that dream down for you.' And he basically produced it with me. So he's fantastic that way.** Clone Jennifer Lopez Breathy Voice?

Jennifer Lopez puffs on cigarette playing grieving mother on the Atlanta set of Lila & Eve

She's never been known to smoke or drink alcohol.

But Jennifer Lopez was spotted puffing away on a cigarette Tuesday while playing a grieving mother on the Atlanta set of her film Lila & Eve.

As Eve Rafael, the 44-year-old pop star appeared to enjoy miming a tobacco habit between takes on location at a church.

In the drama - due out next year - the American Idol judge and Viola Davis play mothers whose sons have been gunned down in a drive-by shooting.

The distraught matriarchs then team up for avenge their sons' deaths after local authorities fail to serve justice.

Jennifer sucked on the cigarette - which might have been fake - even blowing rings while simultaneously flaunting her silver manicure.

The Parker actress was bundled up in a fur-collared suede trench, grey sweatpants, bright blue fingerless gloves, and gold sneaker wedges.

Lopez wore minimal make-up for the downcast scene, covering her long ombré tresses with a shorter bob wig.

Not seen Tuesday with the Live It Up singer were her five-year-old twins Emme and Max as well as her toyboy Casper Smart.

However, the thrice-divorced diva appears to be a bit hesitant to tie the knot with the 26-year-old dancer-choreographer.

'I don't know, I don't know, we'll see,' Jennifer told reporters at an American Idol panel.

'I always believed in that institution. My parents were married for a very long time, for 35 years. I believe in it. It's difficult. I've had my challenges but at the same time I believe in love. That's the main thing.'

Forget the contestants, it's all about me! Jennifer Lopez squeezes into tiny dress for a show-stopping return to American Idol

After a season away, Jennifer Lopez is returning to her rightful throne on American Idol.

And the singer made sure that she came back with a bang at the 13th season premiere of the show on Tuesday.

The series may be about finding the next big singing superstar, but J-Lo was keen for the attention to stay on her – for now at least.

Jennifer arrived at the event in Los Angeles in a super short dress, showing off her toned and tanned legs.

The 44-year-old was also highlighting her famous derriere as the frock she chose hugged every inch of her curves.

The dress had a black and white fishnet pattern, black panels on the sides and a high-neck to compensate for its extremely high hemline.

Jennifer added inches to her height with some shiny white pumps, and completed her outfit with several sparkling rings and a metallic manicure.

Jennifer Lopez, cherish your son's love note when he is a teen

Jennifer Lopez was gushing earlier this week about the first love note she received from her son, Max. Remember to keep those love notes handy, J-Lo. When he enters his teens, you may need them as a reminder of his mother love, even if he doesn't show it.

Jennifer Lopez just got her first love note from her son Max that made her cry, but what she doesn’t know is that by saving that note she will have a lifelong source of tears beginning when her child becomes a teenager.
Ms. Lopez, 44, said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday that, "It says, 'I'll luv you beyond forever Mom.' I'll cry right now! Stop it!"

"It just made my whole life," the American Idol judge said of the handwritten message, which she also posted via Instagram.

Hang on to that note, J-Lo. Once Max hits his teenage years, you’re gonna need it like a child needs a security blanket.

When my son Ian, now 18, was little, he wrote to me, “I love you to the moon and back. I’m gonna marry you Mommy.”

As soon as he became a teen he coined the expression, “Mom’s touch burns like dragon fire.” He’s now 18 and can just about manage not to flinch when I try to hug him.

Actually, Lopez has a sporting chance that Max will not become a “touch-me-not” teen.

My sons Zoltan, 20, and Avery, 14, both came through the “Mom’s touch burns like dragon fire” stage and are back to being huggers again. My youngest son Quin, 10, is still a major hug monster.

When I saw Lopez’s story, my heart just turned over for her, but more for those aging love letters tucked away all over my house. I never did scrap books, but I have the notes squirreled away in books and in drawers.

In fact, Lopez inspired me to call my mom, 83, in New Jersey this morning to ask if she ever kept the love notes my brother, Adam, and I wrote to her.

“Oh, you’re killing me with this call,” she said. "I go looking for something else and instead up pops one of the love notes from your brother or you. I smile and cry at the same time. It’s crazy. I love finding them, but it totally wrecks me.”

I often feel deeply sad for my husband that he does not have a daughter to write love notes to her daddy. He has missed something truly precious because boys in our house don’t write lovey-dovey notes to Papa.

That means that as each son hits his teenage years, my husband lacks the secret weapon that has helped me to survive. When one of the boys is rude, or otherwise trying my patience and making me question why I ever had kids, I can go to their notes for moral support.

However, my husband and I both share the quirky joy of all those school-generated inadvertent love letters from our kids.

I am talking about the times when teachers assign essays with topics like, “My favorite person is…” and “My hero.”

Dad almost always makes it as the “hero” in the essays our sons have written.

I have noticed a few of those tucked away by my spouse, along with some misshapen pottery gifts from the boys when they were little.

Since Valentine’s Day is not far off, Lopez and other moms can add to their arsenal of love notes.

My mom used to have us write and draw with special Crayola crayons that allowed her to transfer those love notes by ironing them on to fabric for pillows and shirts.

Jennifer Lopez has her own clothing line and could take that a step further. My suggestion is for Lopez to solicit kid love notes from parents around the world in many languages and put them and Max’s note on wearable items.

Then, she could donate proceeds to struggling low-income parents – Wear the love and share the love.

No matter how Lopez decides to enshrine that adorable note, she now knows that, as a parent, nothing has a more lasting and powerful effect than the written words of a child we love.

'I don't know if I'll marry Casper': Jennifer Lopez, 44, confesses she's not sure where relationship with toy boy, 26, is going

With three divorces behind her, Jennifer Lopez is understandably in a quandary over the question of marriage.

The 44-year-old American Idol judge has revealed she is uncertain when it comes to her future with boyfriend of two years, Casper Smart, 26.

When asked during the TCAs in Pasadena, California on Monday if she was thinking about walking down the aisle a fourth time, Jennifer couldn't answer definitively.

'I don't know. We'll see. I don't know,' the Bronx-born beauty said during a press conference promoting season 13 of American Idol, according to People.

Jennifer was quick to add: 'You know, I've always believed in that institution. I believe in it, but it is difficult. I've had my challenges, but at the same time I believe in love, and I think that is the main thing.'

The performer was wed to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998 and then Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003. She has yet to finalize her divorce from Marc Anthony, who she tied the knot with in 2004.

Jennifer is making a dazzling return to the reality show after a year's absence, during which she travelled the globe on her solo world tour.

'That was such a transformative year for me in so many ways,' Jennifer said.

'I had just divorced, I went on tour with the kids, and I left Idol. All my security blankets were gone, and I was out there doing something I had never done before.'

She had her mother and Casper along but admitted that her beau helped out a lot by minding her five-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her third marriage to Marc.

He was, Jennifer gushed, 'fantastic' with the children.

'I was surrounded by love and family,' the entertainer said. 'I really grew. My goal was not to come out the other side and just survive it but grow as a human being as well as an artist, and I felt I did. I learned a lot.'

Meanwhile, Jennifer is gearing up for the upcoming season of American Idol alongside fellow judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.

The pop star was seen giggling as she whispered something in the 46-year-old country singer's ear during a panel at the FOX Winter TCA Press Tour in Pasadena, California on Monday.

Jennifer Lopez Wows In Leather Dress While Promoting 'American Idol'

She's back!

Jennifer Lopez kicked off "American Idol" press promotions in a daring black leather dress with sheer lace panels on Monday (Jan. 13). She amped up the look with red lipstick and big, wavy hair.

Lopez, 44, will return as an "Idol" judge for Season 13 alongside Keith Urban and newcomer Harry Connick, Jr. On Monday, Lopez attended FOX's 2014 Winter TCA Press Tour in Pasadena, Calif., and then hit up the FOX All-Star party at the Langham Hotel dressed in the leather frock.

The Bronx-born bombshell also made an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" where she reminisced about her first time beside the late night host while promoting 1997's "Selena."

"I just remember sitting on the plane and going, 'I was on Jay Leno. Oh my God,'" she said.

Season 13 of "American Idol" premieres Jan. 15.

Scott D. Pierce: Harry, J. Lo and Keith are golden ‘American Idol’ judges

Fox is devoting a whole lot of time, energy and advertising dollars to a campaign designed to convince us that "American Idol" is going back to its roots.

Don’t you believe it. It’s just not true.

And this is a good thing. In its 13th season, "Idol" has been reborn as, perhaps, a kinder, gentler — and more entertaining — version of itself.

At least in the early part of the season, the show is unavoidably about the judges. And the triumvirate of Harry Connick Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban gets off to an incredibly good start when the show returns on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Fox/Ch. 13.

They just might be the best "Idol" judging panel yet.

You’ll get a glimpse of it in the premiere. They have chemistry; they’re having fun. They’re fun to watch.

When the three judges and host Ryan Seacrest were in Salt Lake City for auditions in October, it was clear these people liked each other.

"It’s been great," Seacrest said. "It’s been fun. We’ve all had a great time together. We all enjoy hanging out with each other and traveling together and doing the show together."

Things have changed from a year ago, when Mariah Carey, asked to say something nice about Nicki Minaj, couldn’t do it. She talked instead about her sinus infection. Really.

I don’t think we’re going to see any video of Connick, Lopez and Urban screaming at each other. But we do see genuinely amusing banter among them. Like when Connick says, "Don’t argue with me Jennifer. Jennifer, I will slap you on national television. I have no problem."

Jennifer Lopez shows off her world-famous bum in New Year photo

We always knew she had a great bum.

But when we saw this photo of J-Lo's behind, we gave it a new title: The Best Bum In The World.

Not many bums look THAT good in jeans.

Miss Lopez posted the photo to her Facebook page on New Year's Day, under the caption: "Happy New Year to all my jlovers 2014 is our bxxch!!!!!! LOL!!!! #letsgetit #LOVE"

In it, the Jenny from the Block singer can be seen flaunting her amazing legs and bum in a pair of super SUPER tight skinny jeans and a towering pair of stiletto boots.

The brunette beauty is wrapped up in a leather jacket, and can be seen beaming from underneath her NY cap.

The bootylicious singer seems to be stood on a quiet train station platform where she's sheltering from the rain.

The songstress recently slammed a plastic surgeon who claimed she'd gone under the knife.

Brit-based Doctor Ayham Al-Ayoubi, who's listed on Twitter as a facial plastic and laser surgeon, tweeted: "These before and after pics of @Jlo show many signs of #plasticsurgery - naturally pretty but now looks amazing."

Triple threat Jen didn't take kindly to the doctor's claims, hitting back: "@DrAyoubi Sorry Sir, but I have never had plastic surgery of any kind. #fact."

So, yeah, Dr Al-Ayoubi got told by Jennifer Lopez on Twitter. Hashtag fact.

Her adoring fans also quickly came to her defence, prompting the doctor to later apologise.

"Dear @JLo I wonder if you can accept my sincere apologies about the wrong tweet which was written by my assistant without my knowledge....

"I sincerely apologise to @JLo & her fans. I want to remind everyone it was NOT me who sent that wrong tweet ! it was my assistant," he continued.

The mum-of-two has recently spoken out about facing body jibes early on in her career, saying it's important to stand up to your critics.

"Early on, my family really made me love who I was and what I looked like. My body was nothing out of the ordinary in my neighbourhood," she says in Cosmopolitan for Latinas Winter issue.

"When I first started on television, people, and even my own manager at the time, would tell me I had to make all of these changes.

"But you have to stand up and say, 'There's nothing wrong with me or my shape or who I am; you're the one with the problem!'

"And when you can really believe that, all of a sudden other people start believing too."

See. She doesn't need plastic surgery - she's got HEAPS of self-confidence.
